Vintage Eagle

How do H&M's men's tops compare to Gap/American Eagle's, size-wise?

Is Gap's small the same as H&M's? or does it run bigger/smaller, narrower shoulders, etc etc...

I've heard that most of H&M's stuff in the US is similar to "slim" or "vintage" or "modern" cut that many retailers sell, which I would assume is tailored for the thinner/slim types versus the average body.

Is this true?

The Gap' shirts are about the same as AA's in the shoulders, and slightly wider than H&M's. H&M's body is very slim, slimmer than the Gap's 'fitted' cut. I don't know how AA fits in here but based on what I've seen on other people, it's somewhere between the two.

So I would say a small at the Gap is bigger (how much so depends on the cut) than at H&M.
