what are alternate ways to cast aluminium, if I don't have Casting Sand or metal molds?
Can I use some thing else for making a mold for aluminium like red bricks mud, pot mud, sea sand or any thing else that is easily available and easy to built.
As long as the moulding is made from dry materials then you could use anything which will withstand the temperature of molten Aluminium. Too much moisture in the moulding will give bubbling due to steam formation and could lead to the molten metal blowing back. Not nice.
