Can I deduct mileage for a temporary work site outside of my house and metro area company, but in my union?
I am a Union electrician license in a metro area, but live and work for a company based in another metro area. In 2009, I worked for about seven months on two different jobs outside of my house and the metropolitan business, but in the metro area where I am licensed and a member of the union. Can I deduct this mileage? If yes, what do I need the support of this deduction? Is this the beginning and end of each job and the mileage data from Google maps enough?
