What can I use to repair a plastic gas tank leak that has a hose connection where the leak is?
I have a plastic gasoline tank on my tractor inside the metal gas tank. There is a rubber hose leading out of it and the gas leaks out in that seam where the hose connects into the plastic tank. Is there some kind of putty out there that is gasoline proof that will surely seal that?
Buy a new silicone hose and another hose clamp. Shouldn't be too hard. There are online firms which sell silicone hoses buy the meter for very good prices.
