Lets suppose,american oil companys got all oil from here and did not import any oil.?
How mutch do you think a gallon of fuel would cost?Do you think it would be more or less?I think if the american oil could actually control prices,it would be more,do you think they would blank us even harder?
Experts cant even agree on whether we have enough oil domestically to supply all of our demand, but opening up drilling would definitely help lower prices by increasing supply and forcing the OPEC nations to be more competitive in the market. Personally I would rather pay $4 a gallon for gas from American oil than $3 a gallon from oil imported from nations that support terrorism. Keep our money in America!
