imperial guard, space marines or chaos space marines for a first time player. warhammer 40k?
im a relatively new player of warhammer 40k and have a tyranid army and am thinking of making a new army of ether imperial guard, space marines or chaos space marines i want to know what each army is good at and their weaknesses i also want to know the differences between the space marines and the chaos space marines, i would like an army that is easy to play quite a few miniatures and vehicles that have good long range damage and close combat damage. thanks
Easy to play... large range of models... effective at range and up close... new player...
The diagnosis is: Space Marines.
Their main strength over their traitor kin is that they're easier to paint, and they are much more forgiving for the new player by contrast with Imperial Guard.
