Lubricant Can

Is it true that lubricant acts as a spermicide and can affect conception?

Or so I read in the papers. I always thought that lubricant doesn't act as a contraceptive.
To people who think I'm taking the mickey ... no, I'm not. I saw an article in the paper which said that using lubricant during intercourse (even normal lubricant like KY and Durex) is likely to affect chances of conception. My GP denies that. That's why I posed the question.

I wouldn't use it as a form of contraceptive, BUT every lube on the market (with the exception of Pre-Seed) WILL kill off a lot of sperm (viability) and lower the chance of pregnancy by reducing motility (swimming).
If you're looking to have a baby and your wife/gf needs a bit more lubrication, do not use typical lubes, oils, or saliva, as these will all damage the chance of conception. You can only buy Pre-Seed online, but it is the closest thing to her body's own EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) and will help nourish sperm and help it reach the egg...I wouldn't suggest using any lube unless it is necessary, though...it's just not needed if the woman makes enough on her own.
Another way to help with that without adding lube is to have her take a cough medicine that is an "expectorant" as this makes all the body's fluids runnier, including CM and is good for the EWCM.

For all of you morons answering in the TTC section with all your 'expertise' from your high school sex ed (ie: who obviously don't know squat because they don't teach you 1/10 of what you should know!!), read this.
