Why do Indian people tend to work at Gas Stations?

I do not ask this question in any type of racist way, just in an honest curious way. Most of the Gas Stations I have ever been to are usually ran by Indians (people from India) not Native Americans. In our town, the Jet Pep was bought out and the workers let go, and were replaced by all Indian workers. Not all gas stations are ran by Indians of course, but it beginning to be a majority. So much of a majority that is is pointed out as a sterotype in movies and cartoons (such as the Simpsons). I do not see a ride in Indian employees at Car dealerships, fast food chains, or anywhere else...only gas stationd, why is this?
Then what makes more Indian people "own" gas stations than another ethnic group?

They apply for a federal grant that is given to ethnic minorities(being an immigrant is a bonus) that allows them to be loaned money interest free to buy a business. Gas stations constantly change hands so there are plenty of gas stations for sale.
