Helix Oil

Advice on my tragus piercing?

2 out of 6 piercings I had before got keloids, my helix (pinna, or cartiledge at the top of your ear) and my nose got keloids.
I really dont want it to happen in my tragus so whats the best I can do to *avoid* instead of try fix it? Plus whats the best way to fix the one on my cartiledge I still have (my nose went away by itself) Im using tea tree oil which has helped a bit but it hasnt gone away.

i have always heard that tea tree oil helps with keloids. i say your best bet is to go to ur piercer and ask them what they recommend since they deal with it on a regular basis. i had one on my cart too and i just took the piercing out after a year and put neosporin on it...i know thats not the brightest idea but it worked for me. there is still a slight bump but i can now wear an earing in it comfortably. each person is different as is their body. see what works for you. i hope i helped you some what..good luck!
