What is a good price to charge for a car wash fundraiser?

I am walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day in August and I need raise at least another $800. So a car wash is yet another choosen fundraising event. What is a fair price to charge? This is also going to help some of our local boy scouts earn more community service hours...

I'd go $7-8. Like the others said, you'll probably get a lot of $10+ from people. The whole idea of charity car washes is to get people in & out as quickly as possible, so I wouldn't bother offering extra services (wax, vac, etc.) as they'll just make you able to handle fewer people.

I never pay for a car wash @ a station, but I often stop @ charity car washes. I don't expect them to detail the car for me. It's charity.
