How can you duplicate a community gate opener?

My mom lives in a mobile home park and it has a gate that you have to have a clicker that looks like a garage door opener to open it. If you don't have one you have to get out of your car walk 20 feet and call her from the gate. There is nothing to protect you from bad weather and the neighborhood outside the gate is really bad. The clicker says its a multicode and it only has one button. Is there a way that we can duplicate the remote so all of us kids can get in the gate to see mom?

the switches they are talking about are called dip switches. chances are it will not use them unless it is an old system. The landlord or property manager should be able to get you remotes and program them to operator if newer. there should be no need of reprogramming anyone elses for new ones
